Bamboo cultivation has no negative effects on the environment because, compared to other plants, it makes do with rainwater and does not need an artificial irrigation system. Bamboo, a pure cellulose fiber, is increasingly being named among sustainable yarns. Lustrous like silk, soft, antibacterial, durable, breathable, absorbs three times more than cotton, UV protective, 100 percent biodegradable, and does not release toxic substances.
