Recycled Materials

Recycling is very important because it decreases the amount of waste on the planet. Instead of using new raw materials, preference is given to materials that have already been used, or the waste of some products, greatly reducing the impact that the production of a good has on the environment.

In addition to packaging made from recycled plastic and labels made from recycled paper, several of our products are made from recycled or reclaimed materials such as R-PET and PLA.

Recycled PET, found in our thermal stroller bags, is a fabric made by sorting, washing, shredding, and melting plastic. Less CO2 emissions are generated during the preparation of recycled PET than during other processes: recycling 1kg of R-PET is equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by 3kg.

Another recycled material we use in our products is PLA: plates, thermos, cups and cutlery are made entirely of this particular material derived from the waste of plant products, such as corn and beet. Its natural origin makes it extremely sustainable, environmentally friendly and ecological, but above all it makes it suitable when used in products dedicated to mealtime. In fact, PLA does not release melamine and formaldehyde when in contact with food heat, and is durable and safe even in the refrigerator and microwave.
